Web goddess Jen Funk Segrest of PixelDécor! fame has done it again! Not only has she brought incredible design ideas to the world with her amazing eye for everything retro-chic, she also codes! Thanks to her, now we all Mac people can have a proper Bookmarklet for Safari. Just run and get it here!.
Even though I have always labeled myself as a writer, I love everything that has to do with web and desktop design --fonts, patterns, icons, desktops, you name it. It is not creating them that I am into but using them, putting them together and decorating with them.
I guess it has to do more with the fact that I am broke. I cannot live the Martha Stewart dream of owning a house and doing whatever I want to do with it, or even of buying endless gorgeous things for my reantal apartment. With potlach design & decorating resources such as PixelDecor, FontDiner, PixelGirl Presents and the eponymous Iconfactory, at least I can take comfort in being able to re-decorate at the drop of a hat my digital environments; whether it is my blog or my desktop.
