a little JAVASCRIPT will make you happy
by Liza Sabater
I just have to say that I am absolutely smitten with both TYPEPAD and MOVABLETYPE. If there is ONE reason, just one seriously simple reason to have both programs is that with TYPEPAD I have learned to use MOVABLETYPE features I thought I'd never have the time to learn, figure out and then apply.
In other words, TYPEPAD is giving me some serious moments of geekatude and I am down with that.
The latest trick you can see at the top of the right-hand column. Now every time I add a new post to my other site c u l t u r e k i t c h e n the list of recent articles in this site gets refreshed. Ditto for the list of articles in this blog that I have over there.
Ah! The joys of code ... when it works.
Of course, I am not doing real time broadcasting of my music list or sending text via phone, but still, I love the things I can do with code. For a control freak like me, this is as close to web-bliss as I'll get :-)
Check out the tutorial of how to get this done at the "UNOFFICIAL" Typepad user forum.
