Imagine 10 bombs detonating in the Times-Square Subway Station

That's how bad was this terrorist attack is. Estación Atocha is the heart of the subway system in Madrid and one of the busiest subway stations in the world.

As a sometime user of the subways (I prefer buses), we are so not ready for anything like this. It scares me to think what it would be like if we had an attack on mass transit here in NYC. Then again, I've always speculated that TAXI CABS could spell doom to the city anything.

I am completely freaked out by the whole thing. I worked in Madrid during the 1992 Olympics and have been there already 4/5 times. Atocha is huge compared to Times-Square, Port Authority or Grand Central. Actually, combine them all and that's how big that station is. Can you imagine what it would be if anything like that happened here in NYC?

To commenter #2 I went to Madrid in 1990, big deal, yeah something like that did happen in NYC lest you forget, DUH!

Let us not forget, in our sympathy for the people who've died and the families who've been deprived of them, who is to gain from this sort of attack.

Who is SELLiNG FEAR GLOBALLY.

Who is the most invested in Weapons of Mass Destruction?
Who is the most invested in getting Unrenewable Energy Resources at any cost?
Who needs a catalysing event to sell ideology of fear?

Who is the Emporer of the world?

BUSH IS RESPONSIBLE FOR 9/11,
he KNEW and NEGLECTED
which can only lead to "it was on PUPOSE" for his cause!!

SCREAM at the dieing of the light!

Why is this thread about what it would be if it happened in NY, how many times bigger is Atocha compared to Times Square, what if this happened in NY? Why isn't this thread about Atocha on March 11?

Why do we keep converting things to "one's" scale if that is what got us to where we are?

And why must we put up with the little man constantly changing reasons for attacking Iraq - "now it's the weapons of mass destruction! Can't find any? Erh... Now it's Saddam! Can't get the man? Erh.. Now we want to free the people! The people don't want us there? Erh... ". And his idiotic advisors saying just a couple of weeks ago that if was there to be a terrorist attack in Europe that would only make Europe turn unconditionally pro-Bush? How wrong could they be? Look at the outcome in Spain.

The sad truth of the world today.

Try to imagine a mind of a terrorist.

These "messengers", are living a dellusional life. Religion is their excuse. They only want to be left alone. Theyre poor, non educated and self centred devils. One can not enter a defending country to try to reform an existing society. These countries will in time realise the importance to reform their own society independently.

Let us leave them alone. Not only the American government, but also the worlds' governments. No nation deserves any threat or attack on their soil. These extremists will be judged by God.

If they intend to destabilise world peace, they will fail. If they attempt to re-create their notion of 'democracy' they will also fail.
If they plot a possible threat on the vatican city, they will also fail.
Show them no mercy. It's time they accept & respect our western culture.
If they fail we are forced to tolerate no more.

The idea of "eradication in the middle east" sounds surreal in the beginning, though as time passes all it takes is one nuclear bomb.

They're all animals, and deserve to burn in hell
I would be more than happy to drop the first atomic bomb on their soil.
Men (becuase they are the cause) Women (becuase they embrace these weapons and this violence), children (because they will seek revenge, hence the war never ends)

WIPE EM OUT NOW BEFORE WE LOOSE TO THE ENEMY.

C'mon baby, don't be shy
