Site Update
by Liza Sabater
I don't know if you have noticed but I've been working all weekend on some minor changes to the site.
Gone are the categories on the navigation bar. My categories list has grown exponentially during the last month as I tackle a myriad a topics; from sex in the White House to art as rock'n roll. Now there is a page that will automatically update all categories and it's entries without my having to think about. Yeah, baby.
If I am going to call myself a copyleft advocate, I might as well set the example. Now there is a page dedicated EXCLUSIVELY to the Creative Commons License that covers this website.
I am posting about so many events that now there is a page dedicated to it. I am only posting of events happening here in NYC or the net. If you have any events elsewhere that you want me to post about, just drop me a line or two --but always with links, please.
Now the syndication feeds have their own page with a short explanation on how to use them and links to syndication and newsreading resources. Now can decide whether to subscribe to just the main posts or just the sidelinks. That way you will know what is a full post/article vs. a commented link.
On the side bar, I have added a listing of comments left at the site. Those seem to be increasing exponentially what with the sudden burst of hits I've gotten in the past few days. I have also shorten the "Side of Links". I'm still debating if I should bring back the Archives Calendar.
So what's in the pipeline?
- Put back the NYC page on the navbar,
- A page explaining what this site is all about,
- My bio page,
- A colofon page explaining how this site was developed by yours truly,
- A links page, showing my love of all things web.
All this and still homeschool, look for a job and bake a wheat-free apple coffee cake. Yeah, life is sweet.
