I know
by Liza Sabater

Children of geeks or nerds are born with an arrogance that is not contrived. Data, reality checks and "i knows" just roll off the tip of their tongues. You can imagine then that being the child of an avowed geek and nerd will make you twice as arrogant.
Mr. Sabater-Napier #2 is that kind of child. He rolls his eyes at you if you're being redundant. He suffers no fools. He says "i know" A LOT; and for a reason too:
Me: Aidan, you say "I know" A LOT. For everything. Even for things you don't know.
Aidan: No I don't. I say "I know" because I KNOW.
Me: How can you know everything? You're still 4 years old!
Aidan: But I know everything, Mommy. I just don't know new things.
Me: Oh...
So now you know.
