Is Google building the ultimate "Information Management Office" application?

It looks to me like the guys at Google are busy creating a centralized (on their server) content management web service that will do what Gates has wanted to do with MSOffice for a long time : To have a networked system that would, in effect, create a meta-Internet.
Longhorn, meet your maker.
