CBS + GWB AWOL = PLANTED FORGERIES?
by Liza Sabater
In Puerto Rico we have a saying: Mientras más se menea la mierda, más apesta. The more you stir shit, the more it stinks.
The right-wing extremists of Little Green Footballs and Wizbangobviously enjoy wallowing in shit. With their extremist brethren in the blogosphere, the've enjoyed stirring the shit for as long as they need to see their fuhrer stay in the White House.
They're stinking up the blogosphere. They've started the chants of forgery over the documents CBS presented as evidence that George W. Bush went AWOL from the National Guard. And they are now chanting around the fire calling for Dan Rather's immolation.
Let's not forget these are documents that have not been dissallowed by the White House. But there are so many extremists in the GOP, so happy to be the faces (or should I say feces) of GWB's dirty work that this kind of diversion works. Their attacks of Kerry's record have taken a toll, and now, when they have no evidence to detract from George W. Bush's AWOL record, instead of attacking the content of the documents, they are attacking the serifs used for writing the documents.
THIS IS A FIGHT OVER SERIFS AND NOT THE VALIDITY OF THEIR CONTENT!
GWB went AWOL but the serfis-diversion-tactic will make him win.

Say it loud, say it proud!
So now that everybody but CBS has called these documents forgeries, what is your opinion about it?
I distrust Bush and Kerry both, but I find this attempt by CBS to put politics before reality to be absolutely Orwellian, honestly.
BTW, thanks for your comment on my blog; and you've got a be-uuu-tiful layout here.
