The c'kitchen is getting crowded and I am loving it
by Liza Sabater

AA026333.jpg I am a typical Gemini, a woman rife with what seems like compeltely contradictory character traits. I am a social animal but mostly engage in lonely jobs. I seem to talk too much but love silence. Blogging meets these contradictions in the middle. For a blogger, comments, trackbacks, referrers, and better yet, guests and collaborators, can turn the lonely job of a writer into a social act.

This week the c'kitchen is gonna be full with people coming and going. I've invited some of the best and brightest of the blogeratti to guest blog up until the elections on topics that I feel are missing from the current discussions, especially in places like Feedter's Election Updates From Around the Web.

I've asked them to talk about art, culture, education, racial politics, reproductive rights, and technology until November 2nd. To remind people of some of the "other issues" --beside lost bombs, irregular National Guard attendance records, missing renegade Saudis and ketchup.

Who's gonna be cooking on and off this week?

Christian Crumlish of The Power of Many: Christian Crumlish on the living web (with a little help from his friends)

Carlos from The Daily Texican - Chicano, Hispanic, Latino Blog

Roxanne of Rox Populi

Joy Garnett of NEWSgrist

Louis Pagán of Latino Pundit A Latino Blog Born Out Of Underrepresentation

JJ Ross, Nance Confer and Paul Danaher of Parent-Directed Education

This is very exciting! These are all people that I read on a daily basis and that I respect a lot. I am asking more people to come on over and throw their thing (or two) on the fire.

Stay tuned. It's gonna get hotter in here this week.

Invite me also. I'll guest post during the elections from a Latino, Nicaraguan, Emergent, Urban Long Beach perspective. Read more about what I do.
