Everything you wanted to know about voting in New York City, but where afraid to ask
by Liza Sabater
Evevrything, but the actual place of the polls. The idiots have that part of the site "under construction". For that you will have to go to MyPollingPlace.com. Still, there is a lot of useful information at Board of Elections in the City of New York - Voting On Election Day.
My most favorite part of the site is their little video on how to use a New York City polling booth. Man, this is definitely a NEW YAWK moment.
Thanks to Gothamist: Your Polling Place, Your Vote, I used MyPollingPlace.com, which is a nifty site that will tell you where your polling place is. I know for a fact that my poll is across the street for me --I am like one of 3 people in my building that votes consistently. So guess what : MyPollingPlace.com works! So if you are not sure where you are supposed to go to vote, definitely use this site first and foremost.
