I'm OBL and I Approved This Message

Naturally, the blogosphere is humming about the taped statement Osama released yesterday. No news there.
What does it all mean for the election? Only time will tell.
But, here's something to consider. Osama knows that if Kerry wins, his days are numbered. A quick capture of OBL in the early days of a Kerry administration puts him on the right footing with the American public, helps to consolidate his support and almost ensures a second term.
On the other hand, Bush's policies and plans are incumbent upon the survival of their Emmanuel Goldstein. Without a face on the enemy ... well, you can fill in the rest.
