Thing One and Thing Two with their best friend
Mommy : Time to sleep guys, tomorrow is the big day. It's election day.
Thing 1 : Yeah! Tomorrow we get to vote.
Thing 2 : For Kerry, Mommy?
Mommy : Yes, for Kerry.
Thing 2 : And Daddy too?
Mommy : Yep. Everybody is going to vote.
Thing 1 : Cool! We get to see how Kerry wins.
Thing 2 : Awesome!

Casting away any doubt of their existence :) I do have to agree, though. They are the cutest guys on the planet. And funny too.
