Thank You

I give thanks today for my family, my friends, and you.
Without you, writing would not be the same.
I know you're here, maybe always, maybe part of the time. Knowing you're here made me realize there is no time for moping or despair. Bush? Red States? Who? There is no time for dwelling on that. This is time for community.
A time for hope. A time of wonder.
Technology has never afforded so many opportunities to humanity. The oppotunity to build families without bloodlines, communities without governments, nations without borders.
I love where I am right now. I have no idea what things will look like even 6 months from now. But I can't wait. I don't want to wait.
As Ann Richards said, "The here and now is all we have, and if we play it right it's all we'll need."
Here.
Now.
You.
Me.
That's all we need.
