Gone to Boston for work and networking : Internet + Society 2004
by Liza Sabater

At the last minute I decided to extend a business trip to Boston I have scheduled for today. I will be staying in Boston until Saturday to attended the assorted activities and festivities happening around the Internet Society 2004 conference at Harvard University.
The topic? Blogging the vote : has the web changed politics? To which I say : You bet your panties it has.
So, if any of you, dear readers, are in Boston and want to meet, please send me a note to nyc [d o t ] blogdiva [ atski ] gmail [ d o t ] com.
My living with a software uber-geek has left me technologically challenged --and on the brink of divorce, me being a gadget girl. Yes, I like to shatter a few commandments with anything running on hard drives and smelling of silicon. To my dismay, I have been living in a technological lacuna for the past two years. In other words, I live resentful of the wireless nation --the world owes and it owes me bad. So, if you expect me to be WiFi'ed, I have to say, I will be sorely disappointing you.
At least I get to say I went to Hardvard.
Ha!
