Let's start a Bash-a-Democrathon : 47 Democrats voted for the Schiavo legislation
by Liza Sabater

This just in from John Aravois of AMERICAblog: Because a great nation deserves the truth | Please bash a House Democrat for Jesus

It's the least we can do on Easter weekend.

Seriously, 47 House Democrats shamelessly voted for that ridiculous Terri Schiavo legislation last weekend, the one that let the Congress enact a legislative coup d'etat and take this issue out of the state courts and throw it into the federal courts in an effort to invalidate the rule of law in America.

47 House Democrats chose to cave on their principles and act like Republicans because they didn't have the balls to stand up for what's right. And what's the result? People like Tom DeLay are running around saying this was a bipartisan effort, and now Republicans are saying that no one can use this issue against them in the next elections since the Dems were on board.

There's a link to the bi-partisan roll call at John's blog; but I have gone to the trouble of cleaning it up. So here it is --The list of the 47 Democrats in Congress that voted for the Terry Schiavo circus act :

Excellent idea. A week ago i was so offended by the comments made by Tom Harkin of Iowa about this legislation, that i immediately sent a scolding email to his staff, reminding them that they are supposed to be supporters of the constitution, and not puppets of the DeLay/Frist string pullers. Make more noise--this behavior is inexcusable.

C'mon baby, don't be shy
