My site is broken

Can someone please take a look at the HTML code on my index page and see what's going on? The site is broken in Safari --so I am going to assume that it is also looking whacked in IE for both PC and Mac.

I'm leaving right now for the Museum of Natural History with the kidlets --as y'all know, this is part of our unschooling. I assume I will not have internets access until I come back at about 4-5pm.

I looked at the templates about 5 times last night and could not find anything wrong. So I am assuming it is an open tag somewhere. So please : Louis, TWhid, Prometheus, Oso, Rox : Lend me your eyeballs!

UPDATE:
Take a look at what's showing on my side here. BTW : It looks fine in Firefox. It's Safari (and I am assuming every other browser) that the site is looks broken :(

Now I really gotta go. The natives are restless.
