Brown Bloggers rule!
by Liza Sabater

Check out the partial list of people at Nichelle Newsletter: Oh What A Night and listen in on almost an hour's worth of podcasting with the snark and vitriol y'all have come to love and adore.

I did my semi-lame assed attempt at liveblogging (I suck at it, for now) at the Brown Bloggers blog. If you have not registered at the site, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU WAITING FOR!

1. No, you do not have to have a blog. If you want to have a blog go get one right now. It's free!

2. No, you do not have to be hyper-melanined in order to be part of Brown Bloggers. As my mother can attest, "ethnic minorities" come all different colors and flavors (I'm told I fall somewhere between sweet and bitter). So mozzie on over to the site and get your ass registered now!

3. Yes, we will be having these monthly --just like my period. If you missed the first one, there will be more.

4. No, you do not have to be either Nichelle or me or even in NYC to have a Brown Bloggers meetup. Get your BrBlog Meetup going. Use the community calendar at the site to announce your meetup. Not sure what to do? Post the question or your doubts on the site and let's blog it over. Want to discuss it in private? No problem (although, doing it in pewblique will be valuable to others).

We met, we drank, we snarked. A good time was had by all. We will rinse and repeat.

Now, if I could only get my hands on some pictures. Ronn! George! EJ! Share the love!

The weeend was good, you gotta believe it. Up in NYC for the Brown Bloggers was seriously awesome. I'm still swimming in the love. Luckily Xquizzy1 held down the fort for me while I was gone with the tunes. [More...]

Thanks Liza for setting up the Brown Blogger site and being my partner in this...I think we started something.
