May is Masturbation Month : Let the celebrations begin
by Liza Sabater

Yes, my little culturekitchenettes, it's that time of the year. Masturbation Month is here and we are called to celebrate some good, safe self-loving for a whole month. A bacchic month that will come to glorious end with Masturbate-A-Thon 2005: Come for a Cause!; an all day group party of one and fundraiser for The Center for Sex & Culture. Their mission?
To provide non-judgmental, sex-positive sexuality education and support to diverse populations by means of classes, workshops, social gatherings, and hands-on, practical skills-building events; to maintain and house these events and supporting materials and functions; to maintain a publicly-accessible library and archives; to staff and support this learning environment.
Here in NYC the festivities will be she-bopped at Toys in Babeland's Dirty Mouth Readings . The lucky people of Seattle will have Dr. Annie Sprinkle herself (yes boys and girls, she is a doctor of the Ph.D. kind), who will read from her new book, Dr. Sprinkle's Spectacular Sex : Make Over Your Love Life with One of the World's Great Sex Experts. Of course, if you can't wait for the book to come, then you can always read for free Babes in Toyland's Tips : "How to have an orgasm".
Of course, none of y'all need to read that one because you've been too busy practising. Silly me!
So let's give a hand to the hand, the oldest self-pleasuring toy known to humanity. Let's also praise its sidekick, the lubricant; the natural and manufactured minion that ensures a smooth and non-abrasive one-trick pony ride.
They've certainly been the bestest toys this girl has ever had. Even better if they are attached to a hot manly body with long, strong indexes and soft digits to spare. Woo hoo!
May is sooo my favorite month :)

PSSST, for the pasty-faced flabby-bicepp'ed right-wing war-bloggers of the 101st Fighting Keyboarders, fighting our nation's enemies from the front lines of their mother's basements, EVERY month is Masturbation Month... their special fetish is pictures of dead children with limbs blown off by 500 pound bombs dropped onto residential areas. Why, display one of those pictures on your web site, and they'll ejaculate within microseconds of seeing it, moaning with delight all the way! Why, Jonah Goldberg must go through a dozen pairs of underwear a day, blogging his way on the National Review Online "blog" this way...

Ahhh, I think if more people just sat back, and slowly masturbated then more people would be too busy to bother other people... or drive on the freeways (utah drivers are hell!)... or other such activities. It relieves stress and promotes a certain satisfied mental environment... perhaps for only a brief amount of time...
Mmmm, I just wish it were legal in Utah!

WHOA!
Can you run the risk of imprisonment in utah if you are caught masturbating in the privacy of your home? Or are you dreaming of molesting yourself in public?
Please, pray tell, what is this law you speak of?

I'm assuming, perhaps incorrectly, that since this is a national event, that there will be some press coverage. Maybe a parade?
I just love the holidays!
