Valerie Plame was/is an undercover agent.
Because of the circumstances, it is not clear if the indictments will focus on perjury, obstruction of justice and conspiracy or the Intelligence Identities Protection Act of 1982. Wikipedia has a wealth of information at their Plame Affair entry:
