Any Drupal/CivicSpace/MovableType experts out there?
by Liza Sabater

I need your help. I need to get BlogSheroes back up. I have also some questions about moving Movable Type to Drupal.

If you can help, please give me a holler on the comments section.

Thanks.

In re : Movable Type
Have you used MT2Drupal? I set it up just exactly as the instructions say and have no idea whether it worked or not --and Lynn and I are having a hell of a time trying to install the damn MovableType into the new server. I've just run out of ideas. So for now I am going to miggrate all the static pages to the new server, use google for searching the pages and hope to blog to find a solution to this by the end of the year.

As to the BlogSheroes:
That site is in Dreamhost at the moment --it not only sucks worm's meat but most of the networking work I want to do with that site cannot be done without some heavy reconfguring of the PHP (which I have had 2 sysadmins try to do to no avail). Dreamhost totally sucks.

The issue here is that the site is on an earlier version of CivicSpace. Would it be just easier to install the new version (which takes about 10 minutes) and just SQL all the users of the old site and later worrry about the content (which there wasn't much of to begin with). I want to run aggregator 2 on the new blogsheroes site as well manage with it communications to the network; so was wondering which would be fater : Clean install with User upload or Full migration.

C'mon baby, don't be shy
