Nope...wedding
Friend of mine's wedding up in Seattle. He wanted the wedding party dressed up in Rennaissance period costumes. I opted for a somewhat earlier period...came as a Viking...with a replica Viking axe. My friend and his wife were thrilled at the variety and detail of our costumes.
I will admit that the wedding that took place earlier in the same garden looked quite alarmed when we started descending on the scene.
The axe has only been used twice. Once, well after the wedding, I did use it to chop down a sapling in my backyard that was too close to a wall. First time was on my way to the wedding when I saw a wild apple lying on the ground. It was irresistable. I chopped the apple perfectly in half with a satisfying "thwok" sound.
