Like I said
The two components are number of people and amount consumed per person. We can address it from both angles. And, like I said, if we don't address these two variables in a thoughtful, controlled way, we will see them dealt with in an uncontrolled, Malthusian way. Or, as someone put it on the equivalent dKos diary, if we don't do something about the problem lots of people are going to die. Not too far from the truth.
