It Cracks me up...

It cracks me up how Obama supporters act like he blew her out of the water with votes. Obama has .1% more of the popular vote than her if you dont count MI,NV,IA,ME and WA
Obama - 17,535,458 (48.1%)
Clinton - 17,493,836 (48.0%)
Now if you count MI,NV,IA, ME and WA Clinton comes out on top with more than him and pushing over 18 million at- 18,046,007 (47.9%) to Obama's 17,869,542 (47.4%)

The democratic party runs their primaries horribly. They need to run their primaries like the Republicans do. Thats why in the last forty years we have only had TWO democrats in office. I can't stand most of them but they play it smart. They do mostly winner take all primaries, which is a reflection of who has the best chance of winning come Nov. Not some convoluted "lets be fair" thing that screws us in the end. Now don't get me wrong. I will vote for Obama because I HATE McCain. I hope Obama wins, but I just don't see it happening. A whole lot of people in middle America are not gonna go for this guy.

Words to live by

I assume Hillary will win the presidency. I find myself going through an involuntary process of accommodation to the idea. That is an advantage of emerging as the inevitable nominee so early. On the other hand, a year from now, she'll still be hovering around, not achieving anything, but just being what she always was, the inevitable nominee. That's going to be really boring. What happens to the hunger for change?
