Could you please explain to me why soccer players are so good looking?

palencia.png

Is there something about the psycho-demographics of soccer that makes it palatable to delectable young hotties?

Look at this man. His name is Francisco "Paco" Palencia.

OK, so he didn't make it to the Copa Final; but lawd have mercy! His mug has been gracing the boob tube on some commercial about one thing or another. I can't remember what the commercial is about because I am so busy checking him out.

¡Ay papi!

He's like the azteca equivalent of Orlando Bloom. Only hotter, manlier and ... hotter.

¡Dame un chin chin d'eso!

debolezza

Liza,
Ho debolezza por i giocatori di calcio. Really, really bad. I love their hamstrings and their quads. And their butts. And the photo you've provided us with is gorgeous.
I have had the World Cup on every day. I can't seem to stop watching the games. I know who I'm cheering for--but in every other game where "my" team isn't playing, I've been cheering for former colonies to defeat the colonial masters.
But all my politics will come to a quick end when England plays.
GO ENGLAND!!!!

the great deception

anything to keep the eye off the ball... you should be aware of the tatics of distraction. in roman times they had the games, in our culture we still have the games with only with advanced interfaces.

truth be ours and it shall set us free.

well, if the distraction looks like Paco

then that's fine by me

Two votes here for the Ivory Coast

There was *serious* leg-rubbing going on here when the Ivory Coast team lined up for their second game. They top the "hottie" league, as far as my pal Jinty and I are concerned! :-)

Typish Frauen!

You all need to take a cold shower, specially my sister! Man you are terrible! Worst than a fucking teenie! Let it be me doing all that gawking and I'm your typical macho chauvinistic puerco. Like we say in Deutschland, "Typisch Frauen!" I'm telling Mami!

Words to live by

...We've gone from first to twelfth in world wages. We've had four years where we have produced no private sector jobs. Most people are working harder for less money than they were making ten years ago.

It is because we are in the grip of a failed economic theory. And this decision you are about to make better be about what kind of economic theory you want, not just people saying I'm going to go fix it but what are we going to do? I think what we have to do is invest in American jobs, American education, control American health care costs, and bring the American people together again.

— Democratic Candidate (later President) Bill Clinton
